Duco night out

Thankyou Duco for a great night out enjoyed by a few of our team Wednesday 26 August, Marion Garlick and her husband John, Tanya Canty and Debra Houghton.
Duco put on an event ‘An Evening with Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and friends’ before they departed for the UK. Giants in the history of New Zealand sport, this record breaking pair rarely allow this unique insight into their trials and tribulations of preparing for the world stage.
Duco have been a client of ours for many years and we value the trust and relationship. Gilligan Sheppard help with all the compliance and filing requirements along with consulting for management and specialist tax issues.
Duco’s attention to detail for service, food, entertainment was fantastic at the black tie event (it’s not every day that we leave work with our hair done, makeup on and formal dress). From our view the evening ran without a problem and the result on the night was above expectation.
The auction was a lot of fun and Tanya Canty left owning a 55 inch curved screen TV… although it was a bit ironic that she was so caught up in the moment that she hadn’t read the fine print and realised that GST was on top of her bid. We’re enjoying the team banter over that one.
Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Ali William’s commitment to isport is humbling. It is great to see such great role models for all sport in NZ and for the age group that isport are helping with team uniforms, travel and other costs that some individuals and teams can’t afford.
