Sue Su

Sue Su obtained her Bachelor of International Business and Major in Accounting and has more than a decade of experience working in the accounting field. She has worked amongst multiple cultural environments in relation to Automotive, food retails, Real Estate, Construction and non-profit organisations. Sue brings a highly positive and professional nature to support all her clients, practices quality service and good faith. Sue joined Gilligan Sheppard during level 3 lockdown, where she searched for a company with a high level of leadership so she can continue her professional development. GS is the place she found, and finds it even better than she had thought – Sue greatly appreciates the employee focus here at GS, she feels that the employees are the most important assets to the business and feels treasured to be a part of the family.

Sue originally grew up in Tianjin, China, a city close to Beijing. She moved to New Zealand as an international student in 2001 where she now enjoys the healthy, safe, work and life balance that New Zealand has to offer. Sue makes the most of New Zealand’s climates by getting outdoors, taking in the beautiful scenery, and exploring everything she can outside her doorstep and beyond. Sue is passionate about experiencing different things and attempting to take on challenges that will push her to reach new feats. Sue is a keen swimmer, and often heads down to the local leisure centre in the early mornings to start the day stress-free and get the body moving! When she is not spending time with her family, swimming, or exploring the open air, you’ll find Sue tucked up reading a good book – the way to her heart! Between the pages is where all Sue’s inspiration lays.
