Investment syndicates

Investment syndicates, in finance, refer to the pooling of resources by like-minded investors to buyout or create a business or capital asset such as a property or other such assets.

At Gilligan Sheppard, we both source and offer (subject to security law restrictions) such investment syndicates. We also provide governance and management services (not at the same time, we understand conflict of interest) and can help manage your syndicate or can use our networks to create a syndicate for your business or asset.

Gilligan Sheppard works with a range of property developers and land owners to secure funding (both debt and equity) to enable property development projects to commence. We work with some of New Zealand’s most respected property developers.

Looking back over the numbers for the last five years, we can proudly say that we have met or exceeded our clients’ expectations with investment syndicates.

Our syndicates comprise a broad range of investors who determine which project appeals to them such as a commercial building in Queen Street, Residential Housing in Auckland, Apartment conversions in Auckland, Greenfield development in Christchurch or Worker accommodation in Queenstown.

In addition, we routinely test new ideas and attempt to build groups of collaborators to fund and advance such companies.

The Investment team at Gilligan Sheppard can help you if you are looking for project funding or if you are an investor looking for a property investment option.
