Joshua Huang was born and raised in China. In 2003, only 17 years old, he packed up and moved to New Zealand to pursue a career in the corporate industry. Joshua appreciates the natural beauty of New Zealand, the friendly people, and the safe environment.

After completing his Graduate Diploma in Business and Bachelor of Business at Auckland University, Joshua has been an Accountant for over six years, working for various Auckland accounting firms covering a wide range of industries. Joshua is our keen problem solver. He thrives off finding practical solutions to all sorts of business and tax related matters, and providing thorough trustworthy advice to his clients.

Outside of work, Joshua spends his time doing all sorts! Alongside his wife and two daughters, Joshua loves exploring different cultures, so when they’re not overseas travelling, they’re travelling from one restaurant to another – getting a taste of all the different cuisines. When Joshua gets the time, he hits the basketball court for a bit of fun (the commitment to a sports team isn’t so do-able once you have kids!).

From concerts with the wife (and without the kids) to zip-lining in Bangkok and Kayaking in Fiji – Joshua loves an adventure! But deep down he looks forward to those Saturday movie nights the most!

Next up on the travel agenda is Japan or Turkey – when the time allows of course.

  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns
  • Assisting Auditor to complete the Audited financial Statements
  • Prepare GST, PAYE, FBT, RWT and NRWT returns within set deadlines
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve business performance 
  • Assist clients with their tax structures and financial planning 
  • Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service 
  • Set up new clients on Xero and provide appropriate Xero training 
  • Prepare day-to-day bookkeeping, journals and accounting work as required ensuring 
  • Preparing monthly management reports and cashflow forecasts
