Katie Lipfriend

Katie Lipfriend moved into office management a couple of years ago after spending 10 years working in hospitality in both the UK and New Zealand. She loves to provide top-quality customer service and see where things can be made better in the day-to-day office environment.

Katie values a good team to work with, as this is what makes coming to work a joy, and Gilligan Sheppard is a true showcase of that. Joining the team has given her an opportunity to develop new skills and hone existing ones, and working alongside Georgia makes the days fun!

Katie was drawn to Gilligan Sheppard’s risk-taking and outgoing nature.

Be yourself; everyone else is taken

Outside of work, Katie likes spending time with her friends out and about enjoying New Zealand’s beautiful outdoors and any opportunity to travel. She is also a huge fan of crime novels and dramas when the weather is against her going outside.

It is Katie’s ten-year anniversary in New Zealand, and she is very proud of the life and family away from home she has created here! She has learnt to rely on herself foremost (as moving overseas by yourself is a challenge) but to open yourself up to chances when it comes to meeting new people, because those are where the best adventures come from!
