Robert Aydon joined Gilligan Sheppard after eight years in Chartered Accountancy practices. He has experience in assisting clients of all sizing with planning, preparation of annual accounts and taxation compliance.
Robert Aydon enjoys working with clients looking to grow their business and looking for a greater level of detail on the reporting information of their current business.
Hailing from Christchurch, Robert was there when the big earthquake of 2011 hit and counts himself quite lucky as it hasn’t affected him much. Although he does now have quite a lot of experience in dealing with insurance companies on behalf of his clients.
Robert moved to Auckland because he wants to play with the big boys – the big entities who handle overseas business. The vast majority of his school and university prepared him for that type of work which he loves.
Robert rides a Buell XB 12SS, more for practicality because it’s cheap to run and park. Known as ‘Google’ in the office, Robert has a vast index of obscure accounting information – if you’ve got a curve ball question, he’s your man.
