Originally from China, Fang (pronounced Fung) immigrated to New Zealand in 2007. Even though she’s enjoyed travelled around New Zealand, Auckland is where she landed and has stayed.
Working in accounting for a variety of different business types, Fang most enjoys solving problems – it maximises her job satisfaction keeping her motivated for her clients. Her biggest piece of advice is…
“Action is the key to every success
– don’t be afraid to make changes.”
Describing the GS culture as friendly and professional, Fang especially likes that everyone seems very confident.
A foodie who loves all sorts of cuisine and in particular, spicy food, Fang likes the 70’s and 80’s – the movies, music and fashion. Her favourite movie from that era is ‘Somewhere in Time’, a romantic time travelling theme starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. She is also an avid vintage camera collector.
Fang has seen a lot of Asia, her favourite place visited so far is Japan – she describes the culture as so well behaved, polite and respectful. It is next level super clean and so very different from anywhere else. There is one place that is still on her list to visit – Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
